When I think of traveling, I think of landscapes, horizons, and oceans. It’s exactly my destination when I get into my car and take off on the roads. Ever since I was a girl, I’ve always loved exploring. It got me into too much trouble, but the excitement of discovery kept me going.

In high school, I wanted to be someone in the field of science because I knew it would get me out in the wild somewhere. My love for the ocean took over and I decided to pursue Physical Oceanography.

In college, my dreams fell apart as Physical Oceanographer so I returned home and started over from the beginning. I discovered digital media, photography and writing. I developed depression in college and soon found my medicine in traveling. Small travels out of town helped to calm down the demons I felt was taking over. My love for exploring and discovery took off like a rocket and I wanted to be more a part of it. I brought writing and travel together and decided to pursue Travel Writing. I haven’t looked back since.

There is nothing more exciting and then having a purpose to go explore somewhere new and coming home to share it with the world.
